We have arrived our journey starts here and now

A youth-led and action-focused approach enables young students co-design and create innovative responses to social issues they care about. Participation enables students to develop 21st century skills for life and work as well as giving them a voice and agency on the issues that matter to them. There is now greater emphasis and agreement on the need towards a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly economy,  the overlap between entrepreneurship and sustainability has become a integral part of emerging research, we are beginning to see the emergence of ecopreneurial businesses. These businesses are driven by a renewed focus on innovation to achieve sustainable growth by exploiting market opportunities.

Aims of the project.

We provide the skillset that allows students to tackle problems more creatively and innovatively. The project provided access to practical tools that would enable the students to develop and execute their ideas within the context of a sustainable business.

Students have access to:

•              A selection of relevant tools to assist them in the problem-solving process

•              Identify suitable material to assist them in finding solutions

•              Apply tools in an appropriate manner

•              Improve networking skills and collaboration

High quality learning activities require a lot of thought. The following guidelines and principles

•          connect the activities to the intended learning outcomes.

•          designed activities that will help capture, prompt intrinsic motivation, and foster enjoyment in learning.

•          connect concepts authentically to their own world or context.
